How to avoid jet leg.


The travel editor Peter Greenberg shares his philosophy to avoid jet lag, without pills, diets and so on.
Simple tips to prevent these annoying symptoms. He defines the jet lag as a state of mind more then anything else.
First, don't eat much on the plane, many people do just because they are bored, better to bring some fruits and drink sparkling water.
Second, avoid alcohol.
Third, if you feel to sleep then sleep, if you feel to work or watch movie then do it, but at least walk a bit.
Forth, the most important for Greenberg, is what you do once your plane lands, no matter at what time, you must stay up until 11 pm. Even if is the most difficult thing to do. The first day you probably will sleep for four hours, the second day do the same and you will be back to your normal cycle.
